You can review and edit the data and settings to learn about the features and capabilities of the application. Shown below are the steps in the Data Table and in the Edit Chart used to create this chart.

Data Table
  • Graph Type is Line.
  • X Data Type is Number. Use Fill Data Options to generate numeric values for the X Data column.
  • Use Transform Data Options to generate exponential data for Graph A, B and C.

     Fill Data Options

  • Click on Data Options on the Data Table toolbar and select Fill. Enter “1” in Start Row and “101” in End Row. Enter “0” in Start Fill and “0.1” in Increment. Enter “X” in Dest Col. This will generate 101 data points ranging from 0 to 10 in the X Data column.

     Transform Data Options

  • Click on Data Options on the Data Table toolbar and select Transform. Enter “1’ in Start Row and “101” in End Row. Enter “A” in Dest Col. Enter “5*exp(x/5)” in Transform Equation. This will generate 101 exponential data points for Graph A.
  • For Graph B, enter “B” in Dest Col. Enter “4*exp(x/5)” in Transform Equation.
  • For Graph C, enter “C” in Dest Col. Enter “3*exp(x/5)” in Transform Equation.
