Radar Plot
If you are a registered user, you can click on the Edit Graph button to open the TechGraph Editor showing the data and settings of this sample chart. You can review and edit the data and settings to learn about the features and capabilities of the application. Shown below are the steps in the Data Table and in the Edit Chart used to create this chart.
Data Table
- Graph Type is “Radar”.
- X Data Type is “Label”. The X Data column consists of labels for a sequence of equi-angular spokes, called radii.
- Graph A and B contains the corresponding radii values.
Edit Chart
Radar Settings
- Uncheck Outer Frame On. Uncheck Circular Frame On.
- Enter “6” in Major Div. Enter “1” in Minor Div. Enter “18” in Maximum Radius.
- Click on Major/Minor Grid. Check Major Grid On. Set the Line Thickness and Type for the radius grid lines.
Settings
- Click on Legend Text for Graph A and B. Enter “Class A” for Graph A legend. Enter “Class B” for Graph B legend.
- Select “Bottom” from Legend Placement list.
- Click on Graph Style for Graph A. Check Fill Below Line. Set Color, Thickness, and Type for Graph A line. Set Fill Color and Pattern for the fill below line. Note that fill color can be different from line color. Repeat this process for Graph B.
Edit Chart Toolbar Options
- Print Chart prints your chart.
- Download Image downloads your chart as an SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) file or image file(PNG, JPEG, TIF, PDF).
- Drawing Objects customize your chart with labels, lines, arrows, circles, images, and logos.
