3D Pie and Link Column

Shown below are the steps in the Data Table and in the Edit Chart used to create this chart.

Data Table

Graph Type is “Pie”.
X Data Type is “Label”. X Data column contains the segment labels for Pie 1 and Pie 2 Column.
Graph A contains the numeric values for Pie 1.
Graph B contains the numeric values for Pie 2.

Edit Chart

Pie Settings for Pie 1

Select “Pie 1” from Selection list.
Select “Column” from Pie Type list. Enter “100” in Pie Size.
Check 3D Pie. Check Link Pie.
Click on Segment to select the Color and Pattern for each segment. In this example, check Explode Segment for Segment 1 to link this segment to Pie 2 Column.
Select “None” from Value Placement list. Select “Inside” from Percent Placement list.

Pie Settings for Pie 2 Column

Select “Pie 2” from the Selection list.
Select “Column” from Pie Type list. Enter “40” in Pie Size.
Click on Segment to select the Color and Pattern for each column in Pie 2.
Select “None” from Value Placement list. Select “Inside” from Percent Placement list.

Chart Background

Click on Grid Setup on the Edit Chart toolbar. Check Background On. Set Top Color and Bottom Color for the Chart Background.

Edit Chart Toolbar Options

Print Chart prints your chart.
Download Image downloads your chart as an SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) file or image file(PNG, JPEG, TIF, PDF).
Drawing Objects customize your chart with labels, lines, arrows, circles, images, and logos.
